Hall of Fame Nominations
Wasson Alumni Hall of Fame allows the Association to spotlight
some truly remarkable individuals. While Goose
Gossage is most widely recognized, all are truly remarkable individuals. The
mission of the Wasson Alumni Association is helping Wasson today, while preserving
its past. In looking for a link to the student of today, the idea of a Hall
of Fame to
highlighting past alumni, was established. This will be the tenth year that
the Alumni Association will bestow such an honor.
Application to the Hall of Fame is opened to any graduate of Wasson.
Applications are due by September 1, 2004
to be inducted during Wasson’s Homecoming week. There is no set criterion
for nomination into the Hall of Fame.
Each applicant will be judged on his/her own merit. Application to the Hall
of Fame is opened to any graduate of
Wasson.
- The Alumni Board will
try to classify each applicant based on the nominee's success or accomplishment
in one of the following areas:
Professional
Science
Sports
Community Service
Arts
Political
Other
It is the desire of the board to review all applications, looking
for alumni who have gone beyond his/her normal task to accomplish something

Process
If you have someone you would like to nominate, or someone that the Alumni
Board should be thinking about, please
contact Charlie Bobbitt charlie@wassonalumni.com. Nominees
or any other questions can be sent to our alumni
board via email or our mailing
address.
As in years past the board looks for those individuals who
have distinguished themselves well above the norm. Nominations
are due by September 1, 2004. All those that have been inducted into
the Hall of Fame have found it humbling yet exciting
to be honored. So let us know whom we should be checking out.
You can expect a letter from the alumni board stating that
we have received the application and will be
reviewing it.

Submit complete write-up and newspaper picture to Alumni Assoc.
